ABC's & 123's is an innovative early learning program for Tots, designed to teach basic language components to young children age 1-3.
This extremely effective educational class is based on playful linguistic games, visual exposure to language, cognitive perception, and first of all on a repetitive positive reinforcement. Children will learn upper and lower case alphabet letters, numbers, colors, and shapes in an integrated process. The teacher uses fun techniques (like puppets), to give rise to children's attention, and motor-based intervals between activities.
Group circle time and all activities use repetitive concepts to develop verbal, social skills, and most importantly to stimulate young brain cognitively. All these factors create a base for future, successful learning process. Considering that each child i s born with brain that we call in methodology a “black box”-a blank space, it is crucial for parents to understand the importance of early exposure to simple language aspects as brain development stimuli.
One of this class objectives is to install pride in learning achievements, develop a positive attitude towards learning as such, and to establish confidence in parents about their child's potentials as well as in the child about his or her own ability.
Classes are taught by an energetic and experienced English teacher, whose method of teaching are based both on years of teaching English to children, as well as on a personal experience of innovative teaching methods used on her own toddler. In our philosophy, teaching is perceived as a natural, fun process of acquisition, visual exposure to language, and positive reinforcement, rather than learning by hard.
Classes are held in 6 -week sessions, and meet once a week for 45 minutes.
Parent/Guardian participation is required-one adult per child.
All registrations and payments must be received at least two weeks before the starting date.
There are no refunds after the starting date. A $45 application fee will apply in case of cancellation before the starting date.
