Summer Camp

Summer Camp Overview

image

Kids Pro Soccer Camp offers non-stop learning and playing with current and ex-professional soccer players as your Coaches! Designed for players of all abilities, our groups and team are separated by age and grade levels. With our “play smart, have fun” approach, our camp emphasizes both team play and individual skill development. Through skills, drills and thrills we work to develop the full range of soccer techniques including dribbling and passing with different surfaces of the foot, receiving the ball on the ground and in the air, shooting techniques and heading the ball.

Kids Pro Soccer Summer Camps are designed for boys and girls ages 5-12, catering to young athletes of beginner and intermediate skill. Through individual and group instruction, this tournament-style camp program includes skill development, friendly competition, championship special events, relay races and team spirit contests. Each week campers are divided into evenly matched teams to participate and compete in contests and games for skill development.

Campers are divided into smaller groups for station skill-work to provide an intimate learning environment and specific, individual teaching with our professional coaching staff. There are plenty of positional drills simulating games and at least two scrimmages a day with skill work and practice between games.

Competition Day Fridays give campers the opportunity to show off their hard work from the week with plenty of tournament play, skill contests and fun! Campers are encouraged to dress in their favorite World Cup Soccer Team jersey.

MEET the Soccer Stars! Guests from national and European teams such as Joe Gyau, Philip Gyau, and Emile M’Bouh.

GOALS & PHILOSOPHY

image

At Kids Pro Soccer Camp, we challenge campers to maximize their athletic potential while encouraging them to go above and beyond their “comfort” level and open their minds to learning new techniques and exercising new drills. As players mature, we want them to become “students of the game” while developing their character and self-confidence.

Our Staff emphasizes individual skills, basic fundamentals and techniques, team play, and overall fitness and well-being in a positive teaching and learning environment. Our approach to coaching and instruction focuses primarily on teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, self-confidence and improvement.

Every camper has the opportunity to meet new friends in a positive environment where success is measured by effort and teamwork and not by winning and losing. While we strive to challenge each and every person, we want to preserve the enjoyment of attending camp during the summer. Our goals are to teach and instruct, but also and more importantly, to provide a fun and exciting atmosphere at camp. If each camper enjoys his experience enough to want to participate again either next season, summer, or school year, then we have succeeded with our mission.
